Literacy Council’s International Cookbook—Only $10!
Food is the common ground that all cultures share. It’s the glue that binds societies and families together. Many of our best memories revolve around sharing a meal with friends and families. With that in mind, the Literacy Council realized we had a wonderful opportunity to embrace the diversity of our students and volunteers through the culturally different foods from the various countries represented. We decided to do this through the creation of our own cookbook, and we’re proud to say our cookbook is now available for purchase!. The cost is only $10, and all proceeds will go toward our Adult Literacy Programs serving adult learners throughout Manatee County. And don’t forget...the cookbook makes a great Christmas gift!
